Our Mission - summarization

Monday, June 11, 2007, 08:17 AM GMT [General]

It turns out that there's alot of work to be done onthe internet. If I were to write all of the facts on our mission, I would run out of time before I finished typing. To summarize, we're tired of some of the garbage we're hearing about Christianity over the internet. A few of my friends came up with the idea to start a small internet group to bring the non-believers on the internet to Christ.

Turns out, you can search any Christian term, and come up with more negative results that positive (3 out of 4 times for us) It takes a while but we did our homework. We decided to get as many people as possible involved in this motion, so here we are, on as many websites as we can be on at once, trying to get everything down. If you have questions about DC, please email us at defendchristianity@yahoo.com

    Reaching out (Step 1)

Monday, June 11, 2007, 08:14 AM GMT [The Steps]

All we ask of you at this point is to tell your friends and family about us and about the cause. We want you to take some time to pray about what we're doing and tell your friends to do the same. I'm not saying that you HAVE to help out, but that we would like it if you would. we are still a very small group and need word to be spread. If you feel that Christ wants you to help us out, please do. Our main website is freewebs.com/defendchristianity

Please stop by our site, and let all your "contacts" know about us. The more people involved in this project the better. This is a missions trip, a trip that we want to touch the whole world. Please, just thunk about it and reach out to others with the cause.

    Getting Answers (step 1.5)

Monday, June 11, 2007, 08:13 AM GMT [The Steps]

Okay, we know that there may be some doubt out there, some people asking "What do these guys care?" and "Do they even know what they're talking about?" We have had plenty of time to think out stratagies and plans for this to work, so yes, we do care. The thing is, asking questions is a good thing. If you have any doubt about our program, please tell us what you don't understand, ask us challenging questions. The more feedback we get from you, the more structure we can add to our group.

If you have ANY questions or comments, please email us at defendchristianity@yahoo.com

We might not respond immediately, but one of our team members will contact you ASAP, you have our word.

    Locating (Step 2)

Monday, June 11, 2007, 08:11 AM GMT [The Steps]

This step may be the biggest. Here we have to find the lost souls out there. By out there I don't just mean on the internet, I mean in your own neighborhood. We have to find those who are not as close to Christ as they should be. One way to do this on the internet is to simply type the term "Christianity" into any blogging or video website and explore the results. On YouTube we did that exact search and came into contact with a man who goes by the screen name AmazingAthiest. We watched his video for about two of the eleven minutes and decided things needed to change, so this happened here. What we want you to do here (if you're really into it) is go out and search "Christianity" on any blog or video site and see what you come up with. You don't even have to search a term, on any public site, such as Myspace, just click links to your friend's page and keep clicking on their friends' links until you strike a page that you know needs prayer.
Once you've located people on the 'net to help: let your friends and family know about it. E-mail the video/page to those you think will help and add comments to the message like:

"This poor soul needs direction. Please pray for him/her and ask that they find the Light"

something aong those lines. Keep locating, and please, e-mail any finding to us too, we want the world to pray for each other and this is where it starts.

    Spreading the Word (Step 3)

Monday, June 11, 2007, 08:10 AM GMT [The Steps]

This step takes much more effort than the previous steps, and will be the most time consuming so far. If you have reached this point with us, you are most likely interested and will help make a change for the better.

There are certain people out on the internet that use the Lord's name in vain (we all do it, so we have to remember to forgive and not be hypocritical) there are people who talk about God like he's a fictional character, about Jesus like he did not really come to save us. Then there are those who just haven't gotten to know the awsomeness of Christianity, those who still don't have any idea or sense of direction. This task will be harder for some people than others, so let me tell you straight out:

There will be some cases when you find a person insulting God on purpose, but in many other cases it is hard to tell if a person is lost and wandering, or has found the Spirit. Either way, if you are burdened to, make contact and converse with them anyway, joke with them, share the word with them.

Not as easy as some would say, but it is fairly simple once you get the hand of it. After you have located the, I don't want to call them subjects so lets go with people. as I was saying, once you have located the people, read the Bible and pray for them. If a verse strikes you as fitting, or you are promted to share some scripture with the "people" please do, that's what this is about. let them know that you are praying for them and talk to them about God, and how Jesus came to save us.

It sounds kind of hard, yes I know, I've been there, but once you have found the person God will tell you what to say and how to react. We want you to talk to their souls, help them up and let them know that you care for them. Let them know how good the Word is to them, tell them the straight out Truth, and please don't twist anything to get them going, because it should be the true word of God that gets them into Christianity.

Some people might not act as if they are listening to you. That doesn't matter, just keep on praying for them, and keep letting them know how much you care. There is a fine line, however, between being persistant, and being a pest. Please, try not to completely pester anybody into believing that christians are annoying, or nags.

And, of course, there will be people who say they don't care, and will send replies back to you saying that they don't care, that you have no idea what you're talking about, and that science has proven God wrong. Guess what, that is thier way of saying that you are getting to them. At this point don't give up; keep going because they are only saying those things because they fear that they may be wrong, and they will be vigilant as you. Don't let them rattle your bones, you know what you're talking about. And for those who say that science is proving Christianity worng, the tables have turned. With new nuclear powered microscopes scientists have discovered the structures behind the worlds smallest organisms, and gues what.........Mathematicians say that the structures are so well engineered that the creation of the beings could not have been an accident. Scientists now insist that there has to be a higherlife form to create these, these amazing works of God.
